OPERATION AND DOCUMENTATION
Pearlink inspection, traceability and MBL
Regular inspection and traceable records are essential for load-bearing aquaculture components. The AQUALINK user manual covers pre-use checks, periodic main inspection and additional checks after unusual loading.
When should the component be checked?
Inspect before installation and use. Main inspection is required at least every 24 months, with additional checks after extreme weather, impact, collision, unusual load or suspected damage.
Wear and discard criteria
Check for cracks, deformation, corrosion, markings and wear. Discard in the event of cracks, serious deformation, missing traceability or wear beyond the specified limits.
Record the inspection
Record product identity, size, date, findings, measurements, deviations and the decision. Link the inspection report to the product certificate and batch reference.
